Brandon Gamagami is an American entrepreneur, a closer, and the co-founder of Rankwyre. He walked away from a 4.0 and med school to scale a life-insurance team to 100 agents, and now builds and ranks businesses online with Rankwyre.
Rankwyre is a digital technology company that builds custom websites, ecommerce stores, and web apps, then runs the SEO, advertising, and diagnostics that turn them into customers. Brandon co-founded it after years in sales, where he saw how many good businesses were losing customers to slow, dated, hard-to-find websites.
Before Rankwyre, he spent two and a half years in life insurance, doing over $3M in gross sales and scaling a team to 100 agents, rising from agent to partner in Chicago.
Brandon was born in Kewanee, Illinois, where his father was the sole surgeon serving the rural community at the time. Dr. Reza Gamagami came to America as an Iranian refugee, learned English as his third language, and became one of the top robotic surgeons in the country, with more than 5,000 da Vinci procedures and a place among the top five in the nation. His mother earned her PhD and built her own career as a scientist. Brandon grew up watching two people turn nothing into something, and that became the standard he holds himself to.
A former wrestler, Brandon learned early how to grind, cut weight, and win when it counted. The mat taught him that hard work outlasts talent, and that the work you put in when nobody is watching is the work that shows up on the scoreboard. He never let go of that standard.
A biochemistry major carrying a 4.0 GPA, Brandon was set up for medical school, the same path his father had walked. He walked away from it anyway, not because he could not do the work, but because he wanted to build something of his own instead of following a script already written for him.
In 2.5 years in life insurance he did over $3M in gross sales and scaled a team to 100 agents, rising from agent to supervising agent, general agent, master general agent, regional director, and finally partner.
